This week we were given homework which involved drawing bones and skeletons in order to learn more about proportioning, anatomy and how the body was structured and how it moves. In other words we drew spoopy skellingtons in order to make ourselves better artists.
Pelvises (Pelvi?) are actually rather fun to draw.
The first sketches I did were of the skull and pelvis. We were told to sketch some important bones and bone structures in the body and what's more important than your skull? It holds your brain and is the main reason you have a face.
Bones are rather fun in general.
The next bone structures I drew were the shoulder and the forearm.

Views of the common spooky, scary skeleton.

We then had to draw three views of the skeleton; one front, side and back. We also had to label things like the bones, the joints and the type of joints. Rib's aren't fun...
